Tribometer serve to characterize friction and wear behavior of materials. They are the basis for tribologically oriented development of materials and lubricants and for quality assurance. The development of WAZAU tribometers is based on many years of experience of the "Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM)" in the field of tribological measuring and testing techniques. With these tribometers materials as well as lubricants can be tested under complex and application orientated tribological test conditions. Computer aided friction and wear measurements can be performed according to
all normal ASTM and DIN standards. |
